PQube 3 Rugged Pole-Mount Power Quality Analyzer

The Powerside PQube 3 Rugged Pole-Mount package is a ready-to-install outdoor power quality monitoring solution designed for distribution line monitoring, utility feeders, outdoor switchboards, substations, remote electrical assets and industrial sites where a normal panel-mounted analyser is not practical.

It combines the PQube 3 Power Analyzer with a rugged IP44 polycarbonate enclosure, stainless steel pole-mount brackets and straps, quick-connect terminal blocks, self-powered operation from the measured voltage, battery backup, CT inputs and optional modem / GPS readiness for remote monitoring.

Overview

The Rugged Pole-Mount package is built for power quality monitoring points that are outside a normal control panel. It is suitable for pole-mounted distribution assets, outdoor metering points, substations, utility feeders, solar farms, water infrastructure, remote pumps, industrial incoming feeders and other locations where the analyser must be installed close to the electrical supply.

Once mounted and wired, the PQube 3 automatically detects the nominal frequency, voltage and wiring configuration. When connected to a network or modem, it can send power quality reports and event notifications directly to users without requiring installed software.
